- Replenish and deliver materials directly to workstations throughout production shifts
- Update Andon system (lab status monitor) to reflect current physical location of hardware
- Stage and kit materials required for upcoming builds based on the production schedule
- Coordinate closely with Receiving, Logistics, and Production Planners to ensure material availability
- Support material readiness by confirming that components required for upcoming work orders are available and communicating gaps
- Assist with basic clear‑to‑build checks by verifying material presence at point‑of‑use
- Help identify when materials, components, or tooling are missing and elevate to the appropriate team
- Provide floor‑level visibility to Operations and Planning regarding material constraints or delays
- Support expedited material runs when shortages or priority changes occur
- Maintain organized staging areas and ensure materials, containers, and consumables are accessible and properly labeled
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (Operations, Quality, Logistics, Planning) to ensure smooth execution flow
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 1 year directly interacting with cross functional teams
- SAP experience
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to influence without authority in a manufacturing floor environment
- Ability to lift, move, and transport materials as required
Pay Range: $24.00/hour - $29.00/hour
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work RequirementsThis role is considered an on-site position located in Windsor Locks, CT.
- You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
- Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Due to the nature of the work, no travel is required.
