Schedule:
Operations run 24/7; schedules based on seniority and availability.
Pay: $32 per hour.
Role PurposeThis role is responsible for the safe and efficient repairing and rebuilding of airport service vehicles, including support trucks, stationary carts, tankers, and hydrant trucks. You will inspect and identify defective or broken parts and make repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles and repair gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, fueling, and mechanical systems.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on refueling equipment and maintain maintenance records.
- Drive and operate refueling equipment vehicles.
- Provide preventative maintenance to equipment to ensure the aircraft services team can operate effectively.
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education and experience.
- 3 to 5 years of mechanical experience.
- Proficient reading, writing, and speaking in English.
- Available and flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required airport and customs badges/seals.
