Automotive Technician (A Level or High Level B Technician) | $30-$60/hr | Weekly Pay

Location: Windsor Locks, Connecticut
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $30-$60/hour

Introduction

We are seeking experienced Automotive Technicians (A Level and High Level B Technicians) to join a well-established independent repair facility in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. If you enjoy working on a wide variety of domestic and import vehicles, solving complex mechanical and diagnostic challenges, and being part of a productive, team-oriented shop, this is an excellent opportunity. Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair domestic and import vehicles.
  • Perform advanced mechanical repairs including timing belts, timing chains, head gasket replacement, and advanced brake repairs.
  • Diagnose EVAP, drivability, electrical, and other complex vehicle concerns.
  • Utilize wiring diagrams and repair information to accurately diagnose vehicle issues.
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify and repair mechanical and electrical concerns.
  • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Communicate repair findings with the service team.
  • Maintain productivity goals while delivering exceptional customer service.
Qualifications A Level Technician
  • 8-10+ years of automotive repair experience preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to perform complex repairs independently.
  • Independent repair shop and aftermarket experience preferred.
  • Self-starter who works effectively with minimal supervision.
High Level B Technician
  • 5+ years of automotive repair experience preferred.
  • Experience performing timing belts, timing chains, head gasket replacement, advanced brake repairs, and EVAP diagnostics.
  • Comfortable reading Mitchell repair information and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with above-average diagnostic ability.
  • Independent repair shop experience preferred.
  • Comfortable servicing all makes and models.
Preferred for Both Roles
  • ASE Certifications preferred.
  • Motivated, dependable, and team-oriented.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced aftermarket repair environment.
  • Able to consistently produce 40+ billed hours per week.
Compensation & Benefits A Level Technician
  • $40-$60/hour Depending on Experience / Skills
  • $100,000+ annual earning potential.
High-Level B Technician
  • $30-$40/hour Depending on Experience / Skills
Production Bonus (Both A and B Techs)

Additional hourly bonus based on weekly billed hours:

  • 40+ hours: +$1.00/hour
  • 45+ hours: +$2.00/hour
  • 50+ hours: +$3.00/hour
  • 55+ hours: +$4.00/hour
  • 60+ hours: +$5.00/hour
