Are You the Electrician Who Wants More?

You know the electrical trade, but you’re also a people person and a numbers person
.

You can walk into a homeowner’s house, make them feel comfortable, diagnose a problem, explain their options clearly, and recognize when a small service call is actually the beginning of a larger project.

You understand labor. You understand materials. You understand what it takes to complete a job profitably. And you like seeing the results of your work—not just clocking hours.

If you’re tired of being handed a work order, completing it, and moving on to the next job with no real ownership of the customer or opportunity, this position may be exactly what you’re looking for.

Limitless Electric is hiring a Residential Electrical Consultant / Service Electrician to become one of the primary faces of our growing residential electrical company.

About the Role

This is a fast-paced, customer-facing position for an experienced electrician who enjoys service work, sales, estimating, problem-solving, and building relationships with homeowners.

You’ll typically run 3–4 residential service appointments per day
.

Some appointments will involve troubleshooting and smaller repairs that you can complete yourself. Other appointments will uncover larger projects such as panel upgrades, EV chargers, lighting projects, service upgrades, rewiring, generators, or other electrical improvements.

For larger projects, your job is to:

Evaluate it. Scope it. Price it. Present it. Sell it. Document it. Then hand it off cleanly to our installation team.

You won't be expected to spend days completing larger installations. Your focus is keeping the service schedule moving, taking care of customers, creating opportunities, and feeding properly scoped work to our installation crews.

What Your Day Looks Like
  • Run approximately 3–4 residential service calls and consultations per day
  • Diagnose residential electrical problems and complete qualifying repairs
  • Meet homeowners and understand what they are trying to accomplish
  • Inspect existing electrical systems and identify appropriate solutions
  • Explain electrical issues in a way homeowners can easily understand
  • Build accurate estimates based on labor, materials, job conditions, and scope
  • Present options and help homeowners confidently make a decision
  • Close residential electrical projects
  • Identify legitimate additional electrical needs while in the home
  • Take detailed photos, measurements, and project notes
  • Build clear scopes of work for our installation electricians
  • Hand larger sold projects off to the installation team
  • Follow up with open estimates and opportunities
  • Maintain strong customer relationships that generate repeat work and referrals
  • Keep accurate records in our CRM
  • Track your performance, including sales, close rate, average ticket, and profitability
  • Stay current with electrical codes, products, permits, and residential best practices
The Type of Person We Want

This role is built for a high performer
.

You’ll probably love this position if you:
  • Like having a full schedule and staying busy
  • Are naturally good with people
  • Can comfortably start a conversation with almost anyone
  • Enjoy solving problems
  • Are competitive with yourself
  • Like having numbers and goals to beat
  • Understand labor hours and material costs
  • Think about whether a job will actually be profitable
  • Notice opportunities other people overlook
  • Follow up without someone reminding you
  • Take ownership instead of waiting for instructions
  • Enjoy closing a project
  • Want your performance to matter
  • Want more responsibility than a traditional electrician position
  • Enjoy electrical work but don't want to spend every day doing large installations
  • Have ever thought, I could run this better.
Projects You'll Commonly Work With

Our residential work includes:

  • Electrical troubleshooting and service calls
  • 100-amp and 200-amp service upgrades
  • Electrical panel replacements
  • SPAN smart electrical panels
  • EV charger installations
  • Dedicated circuits
  • Recessed lighting and lighting upgrades
  • Ceiling and exhaust fans
  • Generator…
