Are You the Electrician Who Thinks Like an Owner?

You know the electrical trade—but you also understand people, numbers, and what it takes to run profitable work.

You can walk into a homeowner’s house, make them feel comfortable, diagnose a problem, explain the options clearly, and recognize when a small service call could lead to a larger project.

You understand labor.

You understand materials.

You understand that a job can look great on paper and still lose money if it isn’t scoped, priced, and executed correctly.

And you want more responsibility than simply being handed a work order and told where to go next.

Limitless Electric is hiring a Residential Service Electrician focused on estimating, sales, and customer relationships.

Think of this position as running your service van almost like your own business—without having to take on all the risk and responsibility of owning the company.

We provide the brand, leads, systems, pricing tools, support, and installation crews.

Your job is to take ownership of the opportunity.

The Role

This is a fast-paced, customer-facing position for an experienced residential electrician who enjoys:

Troubleshooting. People. Estimating. Numbers. Sales. Problem-solving. Results.

You’ll typically run approximately 3–4 residential service appointments and consultations per day.

Some appointments will involve troubleshooting and smaller repairs that you can complete yourself.

Others will uncover larger projects such as:

  • Panel and service upgrades
  • EV charging
  • Lighting projects
  • Rewiring
  • Electrical improvements
  • Generator equipment
  • Dedicated circuits
  • Older-home electrical upgrades
  • Whole-home projects

For larger opportunities, your responsibility is simple:

Evaluate it. Scope it. Price it. Present it. Sell it. Document it. Hand it off.

You won't be expected to spend several days completing larger installations.

Once the project is properly sold and scoped, our installation team takes over.

That allows you to keep your schedule moving, continue meeting homeowners, solve problems, develop new opportunities, and create a steady pipeline of properly scoped work for the company.

What Your Day Looks Like

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Running approximately 3–4 residential service calls and consultations per day
  • Diagnosing residential electrical problems
  • Completing qualifying service repairs
  • Meeting homeowners and understanding what they are trying to accomplish
  • Inspecting existing electrical systems
  • Identifying appropriate solutions
  • Explaining electrical issues in a way homeowners can easily understand
  • Building accurate estimates based on labor, materials, scope, and job conditions
  • Presenting options and helping homeowners make confident decisions
  • Asking for the work and closing qualified opportunities
  • Identifying legitimate additional electrical needs while in the home
  • Taking detailed photos, measurements, and project notes
  • Creating accurate scopes of work for our installation electricians
  • Handing larger sold projects off cleanly to the installation team
  • Following up with open estimates and opportunities
  • Building customer relationships that lead to repeat work and referrals
  • Keeping accurate information in our CRM
  • Tracking your numbers, including sales, close rate, average ticket, and profitability
  • Staying current with electrical codes, products, permits, and residential best practices
The Type of Electrician We're Looking For

This position is built for a high performer who wants ownership over the result.

You’ll probably love this role if you:

  • Like having a full schedule and staying busy
  • Are naturally good with people
  • Can comfortably start a conversation with almost anyone
  • Enjoy diagnosing and solving problems
  • Are competitive with yourself
  • Like having numbers and goals to beat
  • Understand labor hours and material costs
  • Think about whether a project will actually be profitable
  • Notice opportunities other people overlook
  • Follow up without someone constantly reminding you
  • Take ownership instead of waiting for instructions
  • Enjoy presenting solutions and closing projects
  • Want your individual…
