Warehouse Generalist –

Location:

500 North St, Windsor Locks, CT 06096. Shift: 2nd shift 6:00PM – 4:30AM. Full Time. Salary: $22.00 per hour. • Operate warehouse order picker to pick products for customer orders and replenish stock.
• Manually pick cases from racks and build pallets for orders.
• Use voice‑command, pick sheets, and Power‑Warehouse to record daily actions.
• Fit products on pallets, wrap with plastic, and load onto trailers.
• Operate electric pallet jack to load or unload pallets on delivery trucks.
• Maneuver a stand‑up forklift to put away or let down pallets (up to twenty pallets per hour) and into racks up to 46ft. high.
• Manually lift pallets and stock or pick cases into warehouse racks.
• Use radio‑frequency terminal to record actions.
• Select full case grocery/perishable/frozen items, fit and wrap them, and load onto trailers.
• Operate electric pallet jack or clamp machine to transport pallets off inbound trucks; compile un‑palletized products onto pallets.
• Clean and maintain warehouse aisles, product slots, offices, break areas, and restrooms using pallet jack, cleaning supplies, and an electric scrubber.
• Assist in other departments as needed and work overtime to meet business demands.

• Stand or bend up to 90% of the shift; lift 1–60 lbs. frequently.
• Lift and move products from floor to overhead; climb up to 4ft. occasionally.
• Continuous standing, walking on tile or concrete; handling sharp objects with proper protection.
• Occasional crouching, kneeling, pushing, pulling up to 60lbs, and repetitive movements using both hands and feet.

• High School Diploma or GED (General Studies).
• Behavioral competencies: commitment to safety, reliability, attendance, quality production, and meeting productivity expectations.
• Ability to operate pallet jack, forklift, battery hoist, and clamp machine.
• Compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
• Physical ability to perform required tasks as described.
