Airport Warehouse Associate

Staff Management | SMX is hiring motivated Air Logistics Warehouse Associates in Windsor Locks, CT to support essential daily operations for our client Worldwide Flight Services. This role offers a stable, hands‑on position with growth opportunities, weekly pay, and benefits.

Note:

Shifts and schedules rotate, with Associates receiving two consecutive days off per work week.

• Evening Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM – $22.00/hr
• Early Morning Shift: 1:30 AM – 10:00 AM – $23.00/hr

• Load and unload package containers, moving packages by hand and pushcart, to warehouse to truck
• Build up package containers ready for outbound flights
• Break down package containers from arriving flights
• Sort, scan and move packages within the warehouse
• Operate package handling equipment such as pallet jacks
• Check air express containers for proper piece count, weight, dimensions and documents as appropriate per air safety and security guidelines

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• One year experience in similar role preferred but not required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and holidays;
  Peak Season (November–December) may require longer hours
• Ability to read, write and understand the English language
• Ability to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings, with and without assistance of sight or visual aids
