Position: Payroll Administrator (Windsor)

About the Opportunity

A well-established and growing manufacturing organization is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join its Finance/HR team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong payroll expertise, and values accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork.

The successful candidate will play a key role in processing weekly payroll, maintaining payroll records, supporting employees with payroll inquiries, and assisting with accounting and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process weekly payroll accurately using ADP Workforce Now
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records including attendance, overtime, vacation, and leave information
  • Calculate wages, benefits, deductions, garnishments, RRSP contributions, and statutory deductions
  • Prepare and process payroll payments including bonuses and vacation pay
  • Prepare payroll documentation including T4s, Records of Employment, and RRSP reporting
  • Reconcile payroll discrepancies and balance payroll reports
  • Maintain confidential employee and payroll records
  • Communicate professionally with employees and management regarding payroll matters
  • Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reporting, and other finance-related tasks as needed
  • Support job costing and payroll reporting activities
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience using ADP Workforce Now (required)
  • Experience processing payroll in a manufacturing or rapid‑paced environment
  • Knowledge of Canadian payroll regulations, employment standards, and payroll tax requirements
  • Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities
  • Job costing experience is considered an asset
  • Experience is valued more than formal education; however, post‑secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Payroll, or a related field is an asset
