CompensationThe hourly rate for this role ranges between $24.73 - $34.00, with eligibility for an incentive target of $1,800.00 which is contingent upon achieving both individual and company performance objectives. The pay range above is not a guarantee of compensation but reflects the potential total compensation for this role at the time of this posting based on the assigned job grade.
Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as geographic work location, relevant experience and individual skills. The stated range is a reasonable estimate and may change over time; final compensation may fall above or below the range provided.

Responsibilities- Receive and stock purchased product in designated customer locations.
- Ensure proper product stocking levels at customer locations by scanning orders as inventory is depleted.
- Oversee customer inventory locations by ensuring proper labeling and quantity accuracy.
- Resolve customer problems promptly and accurately to retain and promote customer loyalty in accordance with Grainger policy and procedure.
- Comply with the safety and inspection requirements of both Grainger and the facility where the service is being provided.
- Meet defined KPIs for the position.
- Perform machine break/fix activities for different machines at the customer’s site.
- Implement territory work related to planning and execution of customer inventory projects.
- Perform data collection (related to inventory information) at customer sites.
- Ensure accurate information is collected to help direct the Keep Stock implementation process.
- Assist customers with staging, labeling, and organizing product at a customer site.
- Complete product relocation and discontinuation processes.
- Travel to customer sites as required.
- Account growth:
Help generate new orders by engaging with customers to identify additional product needs, including spot buy and program add‑on opportunities. - Cross‑functional partnerships:
Execute onsite service components of account strategy as defined by cross‑functional business partners. - Work with sales partners to improve customer experience and increase business.
Part‑time, Monday‑Friday (day shift) working 24+ hours per week.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3+ years experience in customer service/selling (e.g., retail, telephone, warehouse).
- Self‑motivated, high energy and dedicated to customer service and sales growth.
- Comfortable on daily use of technology.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external customers and cross‑functional partners with tact and diplomacy.
- Demonstrated strong judgment, independent problem‑solving skills and understanding of Grainger’s Core Value Proposition.
- Ability to handle technical and operational issues in a rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Background checks and drug screening may be required (as warranted by company or customer requirements).
- May be required to use a personal vehicle for transportation with valid insurance that meets Grainger standards.
- May need to attend customer sites and submit to customer screening procedures (e.g., alcohol and drug screening, safety and PPE requirements such as hard hats, steel‑toed boots and N95 masks).
