Recreation Program LEADER - Fitness Instructor- Yoga

Position Overview

The Town of Windsor provides a wide variety of youth and adult programs, including operation of the Windsor Senior Recreation Center, which offers aquatic programs, active adult programming, and special events.

The Town of Windsor’s Parks and Recreation Department is currently seeking individuals capable and certified to teach Senior Gentle Yoga. Yoga Teacher certification required, and experience teaching seniors preferred.

Specific hours are to be determined; approximately 1-2 hours per week.

• Teach Senior Gentle Yoga classes at the Windsor Senior Recreation Center.
• Prepare and deliver instructional content tailored to senior participants.

• Yoga Teacher certification.
• Experience teaching seniors preferred.

• A completed Town of Windsor application is required in order to be considered for this position. Resumes will not be accepted without an application.

• Applications will be screened, and those considered best qualified will be invited to participate in a skills pretest and interview.
• A background and fingerprint check will be completed before date of hire.
