Automation Specialist - Humanoid Robotics
Data Realm is currently seeking an Automation Specialist - Humanoid Robotics join our team. In this role, you will develop and support software and control systems used within automated manufacturing and robotic environments. You will work with industrial automation technologies, robotic systems, and manufacturing data to support system performance, integration, and deployment across production operations.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Working on leading edge humanoid robotic application research
- Develop, program, and support industrial systems including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA platforms as they interface to Humanoid Robots
- Support the programming, testing, troubleshooting and evaluation of humanoid robotics applications
- Collaborate with an engineering team to support Humanoid robotic application design, integration, and deployment
- Support project execution through design, documentation, research and troubleshooting
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, or related engineering roles
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) a big plus
- Strong programming skills, including experience with Python or similar languages
- Experience or exposure to robotics systems, vision systems, AI; previous robotics experience is an asset
- Familiarity with ROS 2, AI concepts, or vision is considered an asset
