Shape municipal infrastructure as a Development Engineer with the City of Windsor. This temporary full-time role focuses on project management and technical design in facilitating new developments.
Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in Engineering with at least four years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree with six years of experience.
Responsibilities- Establish requirements for municipal infrastructure on new developments
- Negotiate agreements and ensure compliance with City standards
- Oversee land development applications consistently
- Review and approve construction documents for projects
- Ensure private developers adhere to agreements and City policies
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- At least four years of project management or design experience
- Professional Engineers of Ontario licensure (P.Eng.)
- Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety regulations
- Knowledge of construction compliance standards
