We are recruiting an experienced Quality Analyst Pilot - Intermediate to join our team to support our client in the automotive industry.
NOTE:
- Onsite 100% in Windsor, Ontario
- Must be willing and able to travel to the USA without restrictions, effective on the start date
- Valid driver's license is required as well as a clean driving record
- Work with the Body, Chassis, Interior (BCI) Quality Team to ensure all project quality targets are met, manage launch timelines & deliverables, and ensure the transition to quality volume production.
- Responsible for quality convergence, deploying quality management tools for the qualification of incoming parts and assemblies.
- Conduct issue root cause analysis.
- Update supplier compliance dashboard and lead quality reviews, prioritizing supplier compliance actions consistent with expected vehicle quality.
- Propose pilots for issue resolution.
- Manage the escalation process based on the BCI business criteria for parts and assemblies.
- Lead coaching for strategic suppliers on the execution of complaint processes and issue resolution.
- Ensure root cause analysis and manage change requests to guarantee 100% quality at launch.
- Manage correlation of measurements to KPIs and ensure data integrity.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent (materials, chemical, aerospace from an accredited university).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in automotive areas of Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and Product Quality.
- Knowledge of APQP/PPAP & Supplier Quality Manual.
- Root Cause Analysis methods proficiency.
- Knowledge of defect resolution, escalation processes, and follow‑up.
- Knowledge of metrology principles and understanding of statistical analysis and process control.
- Understanding of vehicle design, assembly, and process control.
- Understanding of tooling and in‑plant processes.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with the ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to develop an action plan and drive procedures for issue resolution.
- Self‑motivated, able to meet deadlines, and work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Strong English speaking and writing skills.
- $39.00/hour – $43.00/hour (depending on experience).
- Paid benefits after 90 days (individual and family) – extended medical, out‑of‑country coverage, dental, etc.
- Pension eligibility with employer match after 1 full year of work (open enrollment every October).
