Fixture Designer Windsor

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer with CAD experience to join our team full time. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of hands‑on computer‑aided design experience and a solid understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and precision components.

• Design and develop mechanical fixtures, components and assemblies using Solid Works
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for production intent
• Collaborate with staff and manufacturing team to ensure design feasibility
• Revise and improve existing designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability
• Maintain accurate documentation, BOMs, and revision control
• Participate in design concepts, prototyping and validation
• Download and convert CAD models

• 5–8 years of experience in mechanical design
• Advanced proficiency in Solid Works
• Solid understanding of GD&T and mechanical drafting standards
• Experience with machining, fabrication, or precision tooling preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Robust problem‑solving skills and attention to detail

• Experience in fixture gauge design or inspection equipment
• Familiarity with quality control or metrology concepts
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as CNC machining and assembly

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
