KBE Engineer - Senior; Windsor

As a Senior Engineer at the Canada Automotive Research and Development Center, you will develop and package advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) sensors. Your primary responsibility is to create CAD parametric math models using Knowledge Based Engineering (KBE) techniques.

You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure effective packaging of Park Assist Sensors and Medium/Long Range Radars within exterior systems while meeting industry standards and supplier guidelines.

• Lead the end-to-end packaging of ADAS sensors, ensuring compliance and manufacturability.
• Develop and maintain program scorecards to track sensor requirements and performance.
• Validate regulatory and supplier criteria, proposing actionable solutions for any shortfalls.
• Coordinate with design and engineering teams to reconcile packaging and styling constraints.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of sensor templates and scorecard standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering field.
• Proficiency with NX/DMU workflows and Teamcenter.
• Strong communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.

• Experience collaborating with design and release engineering teams.
• Familiarity with sensor supplier best practices.
• Years of experience in exterior/ADAS packaging or component integration.
