Machine engineer; Windsor

We are seeking an experienced Control Engineer to join our client's successful team in Windsor, ON.

• Design, develop, and implement control systems and solutions to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency for a wide range of manufacturing equipment, including metal-forming, fabrication, finishing processes, and assembly.
• Design and program control systems, including PLCs and associated automation equipment.
• Lead integration and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring compatibility and performance.
• Maintain and troubleshoot control systems to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
• Provide hands‑on support for diagnostics and repairs on manufacturing equipment.
• Standardize control platforms and implement improvements to enhance productivity and system efficiency.
• Analyze performance data to identify opportunities for process enhancements.
• Conduct risk assessments to enhance operational safety.

• Bachelor’s degree or technologist diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in controls engineering within the automotive manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting Siemens TIA Portal and Allen‑Bradley platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation systems for diverse manufacturing equipment.

• Experience with CNC systems (G‑code) and systems integration.
