Actuarial Analyst - windsor

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze statistical data to estimate risk, probability, and financial outcomes.
• Assist in pricing models, reserve calculations, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
• Develop and maintain actuarial models and reports.
• Perform data validation, trend analysis, and risk assessments.
• Support insurance product development and pricing strategies.
• Prepare actuarial reports, presentations, and documentation for management.
• Collaborate with underwriting, finance, compliance, and product teams.
• Monitor market trends, regulatory updates, and industry developments.
• Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and actuarial standards.
• Support automation and process improvement initiatives using analytical tools and scripting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience in Akur8 or Arius.
• 1–5 years of experience in actuarial analysis, insurance, financial services, or risk management.
• Progress toward actuarial certifications such as SOA or CAS exams preferred.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Experience with SQL, Python, R, SAS, or actuarial modeling software is a plus.
• Knowledge of insurance concepts, financial mathematics, and statistical analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
