Payroll Clerk; Windsor

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for employees, and maintaining payroll records. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a robust understanding of financial concepts to support the overall payroll function within the organization.

• Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy in hours worked and deductions.
• Maintain employee records related to payroll, benefits administration, and tax information.
• Utilize accounting software such as Day Force, Sage or ADP and others for payroll management.
• Perform data entry tasks related to payroll and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

• Proficient in payroll systems including Day Force, Sage/ADP
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping and general ledger reconciliation.
• Familiarity with financial concepts such as tax experience and governmental accounting is preferred.
• Excellent data entry skills with a focus on accuracy.
• Strong analytical skills to assess financial data effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities.
