Join Next Star Energy in Windsor, Ontario, as a Precision Manufacturing Engineer. Your expertise in machining and design will be key in enhancing manufacturing efficiencies and innovation. This role is designed for experienced individuals with a focus on CNC machining and component design. As a Precision Manufacturing Specialist, you will work closely with engineering teams, utilizing advanced techniques to fabricate precision parts that drive equipment reliability.
Experience in a high-volume manufacturing workplace will be an asset.
Key Responsibilities- Program CNC equipment and operate manual machining tools
- Create designs and toolpaths using CAD and CAM software
- Validate components with precision measurement tools like CMM
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and improve manufacturing processes
- Maintain technical documentation and SOPs for operations
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
- At least 3 years in a related manufacturing role
- Extensive CAD/CAM experience and CNC machining skills
- Familiarity with welding and fabrication processes
- Ability to lift 40 lbs and work in controlled environments
