Job Overview
Our client is a well-established manufacturing organization supporting custom and production steel fabrication projects within a structured machining environment.
This opportunity is ideal for a CNC Machinist who takes pride in producing quality work, reading blueprints, working to tight tolerances, and operating safely in a team-oriented manufacturing setting.
Who This Role Is For- Has hands‑on CNC machining experience
- Can read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Is comfortable using precision measuring instruments
- Has experience working with Heidenhain controllers
- Enjoys a structured manufacturing environment with steady work
- Study drawings and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining sequences
- Set up and operate CNC machinery to produce precision components
- Load, evaluate, and run machining programs
- Make program adjustments as directed by the CAM department
- Verify part conformance using calipers, micrometers, Vernier gauges, and fixed gauges
- Determine machine suitability for assigned jobs
- Work on both custom and production steel fabricated components
- Maintain quality, safety, and production standards
- Minimum 1 year of CNC machining experience
- Experience with Heidenhain controllers
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Experience with Boring Mill machines
- Basic understanding of GD&T
- Apprenticeship completion or trade certification
- Experience using cranes, slings, and hoists
- Experience machining larger fabricated steel components
- Competitive compensation ranging from $24.00 to $34.00 per hour based on experience

Windsor, ON N8T 3H5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred).
Experience- Heidenhain: 1 year (required)
- CNC machining: 1 year (required)
