Opportunity

Production Supervisor – Windsor, Ontario (2–3 month contract).

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily production operations, drive safety, quality, and productivity performance, and support a high‑performing team in a rapid‑paced environment.

• Hourly rate: $38.00–$42.00 per hour.

• Lead, coach, and develop hourly production employees to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Drive daily production schedules and workforce planning to meet customer demand and operational targets.
• Train, onboard, and mentor employees while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Monitor attendance, staffing, and performance while supporting employee development and succession planning.
• Ensure equipment readiness, operational efficiency, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Promote and sustain 5S, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and ensure follow‑through.
• Manage performance reviews, employee development plans, and ongoing team engagement activities.
• Analyze production and business performance metrics, identify trends, and implement action plans to improve results.
• Facilitate communication through team meetings and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and health & safety standards, including IATF/TS16949 and ISO requirements.
• Champion company culture through visible leadership and Management by Walking Around (MBWA).
• Protect confidential employee and business information while supporting departmental and organizational objectives.
