The Role

Working in our production facility this position is responsible for loading material, inspection and accurate shipping of a variety of products from Pinesol to EZ‑Strip. This person will work on a variety of different stations ensuring production and quality standards are met while adhering to all safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow and uphold all established health & safety, quality, GMP, and company policies.
  • Set‑up, operate and troubleshoot plastic injection blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment producing high quality bottles.
  • Focus on improving the overall mainline and offline processes with regards to machine efficiency and reducing scrap rates.
  • Ensure all quality control procedures and checks are being followed and executed to maintain a stable process and product quality.
  • Maintain a clean and protected work environment.
  • Lifting and palletizing finished product boxes per stacking pattern.
  • The job requires dexterity, attention to detail and physical activity (moving bottles, empty and filled, and 20‑40lb cases). Moving pallets with pallet trucks, etc.
  • Work well with people in achieving shift and company goals.
  • Assist line operators and maintenance personnel with troubleshooting.
  • Work along with the maintenance team to perform assigned preventative and corrective actions.
  • Complete and file all required documentation in an orderly and timely manner.
  • Communicate processing information to designated personnel on shift.
  • Package finished goods in boxes, label, palletize and shrink wrap as per sales order.
  • Perform cycle counts when required and elevate any stock below minimum requirements.
  • Organize finished goods in warehouse.
  • Provide improvement ideas and assist with the cost‑effective operation.
  • Ability to execute tasks in both a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
  • Transfer product via lift truck or pallet jack as required.
  • Report to packaging line supervisor and follow work instructions.
  • Assist other team members as needed and perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
  • 2+ years of hands‑on experience in a manufacturing and/or packaging environment.
  • Must have excellent written, verbal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to multi‑task, prioritize and work independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and the occasional weekend.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving bottles (empty and filled) and cases weighing 20–40 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail, as this role involves quality inspection responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Google applications is an asset.
  • Experience with MRP systems is an asset.
  • Must exhibit a high degree of professionalism with a focus on developing strong internal working relationships.
  • Availability to work on Days, Afternoons or Midnight shifts as assigned.
Physical Demands
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, and use hands to handle or feel materials and equipment.
  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Work Environment
  • Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts in a production setting.
  • The noise level can be loud and temperatures fluctuate depending on the season.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn in designated areas.
