Vice president operations; Windsor

We are partnering with a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial food manufacturing company to identify a VP of Operations to lead plant operations during a critical phase of expansion.

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of a food manufacturing facility, with a strong presence on the production floor.
• Oversee production, equipment, and plant performance during a major facility expansion.
• Drive operational efficiency across key processes, including mixing, frying, seasoning, and packaging.
• Serve as a player‑coach, balancing strategic leadership with hands‑on execution.
• Build and scale the operations team, including hiring key roles such as a Plant Manager.
• Partner cross‑functionally with quality, maintenance, and leadership teams.
• Identify process improvements and implement systems to support rapid growth.
• Ensure smooth transition and ramp‑up into a recent, larger production facility.

• Hands‑on manufacturing leader with deep plant‑level experience.
• Background in salty snacks, crackers, or similar food production strongly preferred.
• Experience working with production equipment such as frying systems, seasoning systems, and automated lines.
• Strong operational and mechanical aptitude; understands how equipment works and how to troubleshoot.
• Proven ability to operate in high‑growth, entrepreneurial environments.
• Player‑coach mindset with a willingness to roll up sleeves and lead from the floor.
• Experience building teams and developing talent.
• Candidates currently at the Director level ready to step into a VP role are highly encouraged.
