The Opportunity

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor in Windsor, Ontario for a 2–3 month contract to lead daily production operations, drive safety, quality, and productivity performance, and support a high‑performing team in a fast‑paced environment.

Position Availability
  • This posting is a temporary assignment with a defined start and end date.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Leading, coaching, and developing hourly production employees to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
  • Driving daily production schedules and workforce planning to meet customer demand and operational targets.
  • Training, onboarding, and mentoring employees while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Monitoring attendance, staffing, and performance while supporting employee development and succession planning.
  • Ensuring equipment readiness, operational efficiency, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Promoting and sustaining 5S, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conducting workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
  • Investigating incidents, identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring follow‑through.
  • Managing performance reviews, employee development plans, and ongoing team engagement activities.
  • Analyzing production and business performance metrics, identifying trends, and implementing action plans to improve results.
  • Facilitating communication through team meetings and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality, environmental, and health & safety standards, including IATF/TS16949 and ISO requirements.
  • Championing company culture through visible leadership and Management by Walking Around.
  • Protecting confidential employee and business information while supporting departmental and organizational objectives.
