- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Experience: 2+ years of hands‑on shop floor engineering experience; 2+ years of data analysis competency using tools such as Minitab and Quality WorX; ability to analyze large data sets and drive conclusions.
- Root‑cause analysis: Practical experience and implementation of corrective actions (8D/5
Why). - Unionized manufacturing: Preferable 2+ years of experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
- Program proficiency: Familiarity with Factory Information System (FIS), Qlik Business Intelligence (QLIK), Quality Leadership System Engine Manufacturing (QLSEM), and Quality Leadership System (QLS).
- Mentoring: Demonstrated ability to mentor production personnel and communicate technical information clearly (written and verbal).
- Lean and Six Sigma: Green Belt or Black Belt preferred; proficiency with 5S, Kanban, Poka‑yoke, Value Stream Mapping, and Single‑Minute Exchange of Die.
- Quality standards: Adept knowledge of Quality Operating System requirements and the ability to enforce standards.
- Process analysis: Experience with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Production Part Approval Process, Design of Experiments, Statistical Process Control, Measurement Systems Analysis, and visual factory management.
- Leadership: Supervisory experience as an Engineering lead.
- Analytical skills: Proficient analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Expected annual salary range: $74,000.00 – $. Eligible to participate in our annual compensation bonus program.
Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained. If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required.
