Pursue a career as a Tool and Die Maker in Windsor, Ontario, with a prominent Tier 1 automotive manufacturer. Your main focus will be on tooling maintenance, repairs, and quality control. This position is perfect for a skilled Tool and Die Maker with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience and a Tool and Die Certificate of Qualification.
You will work on inspecting and maintaining equipment while also contributing to cost reduction and process improvements. A team-oriented approach is essential to succeed.
Key Responsibilities- Manage tooling inspections and modifications effectively
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Build and maintain jigs, fixtures, and tooling
- Troubleshoot and implement effective quality improvements
- Document and complete preventative maintenance tasks
- Tool and Die Certificate of Qualification (430A)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in tool making
- Versatile to work scheduled and non-scheduled overtime
- Robust mechanical skills and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience supporting continuous improvement efforts
