Tek Rek is partnered with a high-growth fintech infrastructure company building payment and payout systems for modern workforce and marketplace platforms. Their platform supports large-scale money movement across a global network of users and transaction flows.

With strong product traction and continued growth, they are investing heavily in backend infrastructure, scalability, and distributed systems engineering.

This backend-leaning engineering role is focused on building and scaling the core systems that power high-volume transaction processing and internal platform infrastructure. The team is looking for someone comfortable operating with autonomy, moving quickly through ambiguity, and making pragmatic technical decisions in a rapid-growing environment.

• Design and build scalable backend services that support high-throughput payment and transaction workflows
• Develop and iterate on production systems handling large volumes of data and real-time platform activity
• Contribute to architecture decisions around scalability, reliability, and system performance
• Partner closely with engineering peers to ship new platform capabilities and improve core infrastructure
• Participate in technical hiring by helping source, interview, and assess engineering talent

• 7+ years of experience building and scaling production-grade backend systems
• Strong experience working with large datasets and high-throughput distributed architectures
• Proven track record shipping and iterating on complex software products or applications
• Hands‑on experience with Python backend development in production environments
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and containerized systems, ideally within AWS environments
