The Town of Windsor provides Youth Sports programs for children 4 to 10 years of age. Sports programs include basketball and t-ball, but may also include soccer, dodgeball, volleyball, and more. The Town of Windsor is seeking responsible individuals with a passion for working with youth in a recreational program setting.
Responsibilities- Under the supervision of the Recreation Program Supervisor and direction of the Recreation Program Coordinator, the Recreation Leader is responsible for leading a variety of recreational programs.
- Responsibilities might include coaching youth instructional sports classes, officiating youth games, staffing the Mobile Recreation Unit program, leading Youth Birthday Parties, scorekeeping for adult sports leagues; and staffing special events presented by the Town of Windsor.
- Experience working with children is highly desirable but not required. Training will be provided.
- Evening and weekend availability is required.
