CDL Class A Driver

Pay

$30 - $36 hourly, depending on experience. Pay range for this position typically falls within $21.59 to $27.45 per hour. Overtime and performance‑based bonuses may apply.

The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to deliver products to customer locations or job sites, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while following all DOT regulations.

• Follow all DOT rules and maintain a clean driving record.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety and timely deliveries.
• Load, unload, and organize orders carefully at customer sites and branch locations.
• Understand and adhere to FMCSA regulations.
• Review purchase orders and delivery tickets to confirm routes and inventory, reducing errors and improving customer satisfaction.
• Support job site safety by checking for and reporting hazards.
• Take photos of delivered products as required.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and receipts.
• Perform local travel with deliveries commencing and concluding at the branch.

• Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 100 lbs.
• Consistent physical activity including bending, crouching, prolonged sitting and standing.
• Must meet DOT medical certification standards.
• Driving in varied weather and traffic conditions.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Current DOT Medical Certification.
• Completion of FMCSA Registration.
• Clean driving record (no hits & runs, no DWI/DUI in last 18 months).
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance and OSHA safety regulations.
