Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and heavy equipment operation. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes, mechanical knowledge, and experience with various warehouse management systems. The Warehouse Associate will play a vital role in ensuring efficient inventory management and timely delivery of products in a quick‑paced environment.
Responsibilities- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Assist with order picking, packing, and packaging to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, including verifying shipments and maintaining accurate records using systems such as AS400 or other warehouse management software.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Support manufacturing and construction‑related tasks as needed, including heavy lifting and assembly work.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and ensure smooth warehouse flow.
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, manufacturing, or construction environments.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or similar software platforms.
- Valid certification or experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, or order pickers.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the shift.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for order fulfillment and inventory accuracy.
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving, order picking, packaging, or load & unload operations is preferred.
- Warehouse experience with knowledge of heavy equipment operation enhances efficiency in this role.
