Join Autism Ontario as an Office Admin Assistant and play a key role in supporting programs for individuals with Autism and their families. Engage with the community in a meaningful administrative capacity.
This position, based onsite in Windsor, requires you to work closely with the Program, Fundraising, and Volunteer Team Lead to facilitate outreach and support for local Autism initiatives. As an essential member of the team, your actions will help create a more inclusive Ontario through education and advocacy, as well as support for families directly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interface with families to promote local programs
• Assist in the therapeutic space for children
• Participate in collaborative team discussions
• Craft communications for families and partners
• Develop materials to support project objectives
Requirements:
• Eligible age: 15-30 years at start
• Citizenship:
Canadian or permanent residency
• Minimum one year post-secondary education or equivalent
• Prior fundraising or nonprofit experience preferred
• Strong problem-solving and computer skills
