Operations Buyer

We’re hiring an Operations Buyer in Windsor, ON!

$65,000–$80,000 per year, negotiable based on experience

Full‑time days, 8am‑5pm

IMMEDIATE START!

Responsibilities

Manage supplier performance, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and on‑time delivery

Act as the primary escalation point for supplier‑related issues within the plant

Implement and manage indirect procurement activities, including purchases outside existing agreements

Support cost‑saving initiatives and commodity strategies in collaboration with Category Management

Requirements

Post‑secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)

1–3 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry

Strong negotiation, communication, and problem‑solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Business Intelligence tools; ERP experience (e.g., Dynamics 365) considered an asset

Basic understanding of contract law and supplier agreements

Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and manufacturing processes is an asset

Willingness to travel up to 20% as required
