As part of the Communities, Culture, Tourism & Heritage department, you will contribute to planning and development initiatives aimed at boosting visitor engagement and satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include providing advisory services and designing capacity-building programs for tourism operators, communities, and non-profits. Leverage your strategic thinking and relationship-building skills to advance Nova Scotia's tourism offerings and support sustainable community development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead tourism product and experience development initiatives
• Support strategic tourism planning across various levels
• Provide coaching and advisory services to industry stakeholders
• Design and implement comprehensive development programs
• Evaluate proposals and tourism-related investment opportunities
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• One year of experience in tourism or community development
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Proven project management capabilities
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 applications
