Electricity Demand Side Management (EDSM) Coordinator

Overview
Reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer, the EDSM Coordinator supports the delivery and administration of electricity demand side management and energy conservation programs. The role involves customer and stakeholder engagement, program outreach, application and project coordination, regulatory reporting, and performance tracking. The Coordinator works closely with customers, partners, service providers, and internal stakeholders to implement programs, promote energy efficiency, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with program requirements and IESO reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities
The Coordinator will: assess customer needs, coordinate project activities, monitor compliance and documentation, track program performance, prepare analytics and recommendations to improve effectiveness, maintain accurate records and reporting, support performance tracking and data analysis, coordinate administrative and logistical activities, and provide operational support to ensure effective program delivery, business continuity, and informed decision‑making.
Qualifications
College diploma in Business, Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related field.
Minimum three years’ experience in business development, customer service, energy management, conservation, or climate action programs.
Proficiency with data management tools such as Excel, CRM systems, or project tracking software.
Knowledge of energy conservation, renewable energy initiatives or related environmental programs.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders while fostering inclusive and equitable engagement.
Strong organizational skills, managing multiple tasks independently and meeting deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Strong presentation and customer service skills, addressing complex questions and providing effective solutions.
Salary Range
$104,074 - $115,638
