Community-Focused Radio Host Position

Become the voice of community dialogue as a Radio Host for the Afternoon Drive Show with CBC/Radio-Canada in Windsor, Ontario. Drive local engagement on culture, events, and more.

This full-time role requires a creative and adaptive host to entertain and inform audiences through dynamic programming. Collaborate with the CBC team to cultivate content that resonates with diverse listeners, utilizing your strong digital skills to enhance reach.

Your role will be pivotal in making the afternoon show a central point for local conversations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Host engaging interviews and discussions

• Pitch and develop fresh story concepts

• Shape content format and audio style

• Research and coordinate interviews with guests

• Create and adapt digital content for online platforms

Requirements:

• University degree or equivalent preferred

• Five years’ relevant broadcasting experience

• Exceptional multilingual communication skills

• Deep understanding of Windsor’s local culture

• Ability to thrive under tight deadlines
