We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Finance Intern – Financial Reporting to support our Finance team with monthly, quarterly, and ad‑hoc financial reporting activities. This role offers hands‑on exposure to real‑world financial reporting, analysis, and close collaboration with cross‑functional partners. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly analytical, and interested in pursuing a career in accounting or finance.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis and supporting schedules
- Support financial statement preparation and internal management reporting
- Compile, validate, and analyze financial data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet analysis
- Help maintain documentation for internal controls and reporting processes
- Participate in month‑end and quarter‑end close activities
- Support ad‑hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned
- Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and reporting efficiencies
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Eligible for a recognized co‑op or internship program
- Strong academic standing with an interest in financial reporting and accounting
- Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas); experience with other Microsoft Office tools preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Prior accounting or finance internship experience is an asset but not required
- Practical, hands‑on experience in financial reporting and corporate finance
- Exposure to real business financials and reporting timelines
