Director of Automotive Financing

Lead the future of automotive financing with a top Canadian financial institution in Windsor, Ontario. This role is tailored for an experienced banking leader focused on commercial lending solutions for automotive clients.

Our client is in search of a seasoned Director to spearhead business development in automotive sector financing. This position demands expertise in managing portfolios for Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, tooling companies, and industrial manufacturers across Ontario. You will engage with business executives and develop complex financing solutions while building a specialized commercial lending portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a specialized portfolio of commercial clients

• Identify and structure tailored financing solutions for clients

• Build relationships with industry stakeholders and referral sources

• Analyze financial statements to assess risk and opportunities

• Negotiate credit facilities including term loans and acquisition financing

Requirements:

• University degree in Finance, Commerce, or related field

• Significant experience in Commercial or Corporate Banking

• Proven success in managing complex commercial portfolios

• Strong knowledge of financial analysis and risk assessment

• Experience with automotive manufacturers or suppliers preferred
