The City of Windsor is looking for a dedicated manager to lead intergovernmental funding efforts. You will utilize your expertise in accounting or finance, potentially holding a Master's degree and a professional designation, while managing financial accounting staff. Your contributions will play a critical role in shaping health services and community development through accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Inter Municipal, Provincial, and Federal subsidy claims
• Perform financial analyses supporting decision-making processes
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities
• Offer guidance to financial staff on operational issues
• Ensure compliance with financial controls and internal audits
Requirements:
• University degree in Accounting or Finance; CA, CMA, CGA designation
• At least six years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Experience with internal control evaluations
