Care Home Housekeeper

Deliver high-quality housekeeping across a care home, using cleaning, catering, and laundry experience. This is a 16-hour weekly post on a rota.

As a Housekeeper, you will support Facilities Management Soft Services throughout the care home environment. The work covers catering, cleaning, and laundry services, with consistent standards for clients and staff. You will also protect dignity and confidentiality while maintaining client and care staff areas.

• Carry out catering, cleaning, and laundry service tasks
• Maintain client and care staff areas consistently
• Follow instructions from the Assistant Facilities Housekeeper
• Protect clients’ dignity and confidentiality at all times
• Meet service specification and expected environmental standards

• Experience in catering, cleaning, and laundry services
• High awareness of current hygiene practices
• Organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• SVQ or elementary food hygiene certificate desirable
