Job Overview
We are looking for a Farm Manager to supervise general farm workers and harvesting labourers, ensuring safety and bio-security protocols are followed.
Responsibilities- Co‑coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
- Ensure farm safety and bio‑security procedures are followed.
- Maintain quality control and production records.
- Supervise growing and other crop‑related operations.
- Maintain work records and logs.
- Hire and train staff.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- Perform general farm duties.
- Supervise more than 20 people.
Education: College/CEGEP.
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
Skills: Excellent oral communication, organized, team player, attention to detail.
Dusty, hot, noisy and odorous setting in a rural area. Staff accommodation available. Physically demanding with a fast‑paced environment, involving a combination of sitting, standing and walking. Large workload.
