Assistant General Manager
We are seeking an experienced manager to lead daily operations, mentor staff, and maintain the high standards of The Canadian Brewhouse.

Qualifications

2-4 years of business management experience in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment

Hospitality or Food & Beverage industry experience is an asset

Proven strategic problem‑solving skills

In‑depth knowledge of financial tools – P&L, COGS, inventory, etc.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Personal organization and time‑management skills

Responsibilities

Oversee all departmental managers and hourly employees; serve as mentor, coach, and leader

Run weekly manager meetings and ensure effective communication across all levels

Provide regular feedback, recognition, and performance support to the team

Facilitate onboarding, orientation, and training for new employees and managers

Embrace and promote The Canadian Brewhouse values and culture

Maintain the interior and exterior of the building to the highest standards

Handle payroll, order placement, schedule creation, fundraiser tracking, and other weekly office duties

Review and maintain safety, sanitation, and food‑safe practices

Plan, organize, and facilitate in‑house and external events (e.g., event nights, fundraisers)

Predict and analyze industry trends, budgets, purchasing, and labor requirements

Continuously learn and apply Brewhouse procedures, policies, and training programs

Salary:
Up to $80,000 per year (CAD)
