Take charge as the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor for the City of Windsor. This full-time role demands leadership and technical expertise in managing maintenance programs and ensuring compliance in pollution control.
As the Supervisor, you will directly oversee the maintenance staff and contractors, ensuring efficient operations in various facilities. You'll be responsible for conducting performance evaluations, managing training, and developing the team's skills in a safety-oriented environment. This position plays a vital role in maintaining operating procedures, preparing facility reports, and keeping all safety documentation current.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise staff in pollution control mechanical maintenance
• Manage performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
• Administer and improve the preventative maintenance program
• Prepare necessary operational and compliance reports
• Ensure adherence to provincial health and safety policies
Requirements:
• University Degree or equivalent in Engineering
• Minimum two years experience in operations/industrial settings
• Expertise in mechanical systems and safety protocols
• Current Class G Driver's License
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CMMS systems
