Elevate workplace safety as the Manager of Occupational Safety at Ford of Canada's Windsor Engine Plant. Mental preparedness and compliance with safety regulations will be critical to your success in this role.
This full-time position focuses on administering safety processes and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety laws. You will lead a dedicated team, manage safety inspections, and provide essential training to maintain high safety standards across the plant. Your ability to interpret corporate policies will drive the culture of safety at Ford.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage plant-wide safety initiatives and training programs
• Conduct site inspections and safety audits
• Develop safety incident metrics and present findings
• Collaborate with Health & Safety leadership on strategies
• Enforce compliance with safety regulations
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety
• Minimum 8 years of experience in safety management
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Familiarity with union environments advantageous
• Certified Safety Professional preferred
Lead safety management efforts at Ford and promote a safe workplace for all employees in Windsor.
