We are currently hiring a Regional Director to support our Windsor Essex Region.

Role Overview

The Regional Director is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the holistic operations, growth, and success of a designated region within Libro Credit Union. The position integrates community engagement, business development, and team leadership to drive a seamless member experience across personal, business, and wealth banking lines.

The Regional Director will serve as a key ambassador of Libro, forging meaningful partnerships that enhance brand presence, ensure exceptional member service standards, and drive business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Champion a high‑touch, advisory‑driven service model that enhances member relationships.
  • Serve as a key community connector, leveraging local economic insights to support regional business growth.
  • Promote strong collaboration across business lines, ensuring seamless member experiences for local businesses, including business and personal financial needs.
  • Foster cross‑segment cooperation, ensuring integration between personal and business banking teams.
  • Resolve and own service issues escalated beyond front‑line teams.
  • Provide strategic leadership to Branch Managers, supporting them in managing diverse banking professionals, including Local Business Advisors, Relationship Managers, Wealth professionals, and personal generalist teams.
  • Develop a strong culture of accountability, engagement, and performance within regional teams.
  • Act as a mentor and coach, empowering leaders and ensuring succession planning across roles.
  • Foster an environment of inclusivity, professional development, and continuous learning.
  • Structure teams and allocate resources effectively based on Libro’s delivery model, portfolio needs, and market opportunities.
  • Lead regional business planning, ensuring alignment with Libro’s strategic objectives.
  • Drive growth initiatives by identifying regional opportunities for market expansion and community engagement.
  • Leverage financial and community insights to make data‑driven decisions that optimize efficiency, enhance service delivery, and foster a resilient, adaptable team capable of meeting evolving member needs.
  • Establish strong partnerships with local economic influencers, businesses, and stakeholders to promote Libro’s brand and community impact.
  • Ensure the integration of financial and market data insights into business decisions.
  • Maintain oversight of risk management practices, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
  • Support branch managers in effective credit risk management, operational efficiency, and adherence to governance policies.
  • Champion smart risk‑taking while maintaining a culture of responsible financial stewardship.
