Location: Kingsville
I.P.R Farms Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead and manage a team of produce packers in a fast‑paced warehouse workplace. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily packing operations, assigning and monitoring work, ensuring packing standards and productivity targets are met, and maintaining product quality and accuracy. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to coordinate packing activities efficiently, support employee performance, and ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on schedule.
The Warehouse Supervisor will also be responsible for training and coaching packers, enforcing food safety and workplace safety procedures, addressing operational issues, and promoting a positive, productive work environment.
- Day‑to‑day supervision of warehouse staff and departments
- Plan, assign, follow up and report on departmental objectives
- Communicate and liaise with other departments
- Ensures changes are made with schedules
- Ensures product is shipped correctly
- Ensures shipping fills orders in a timely fashion
- Motivates, organizes and encourages teamwork
- Trains staff and monitors their performance and progress
- Ensures quality, delivery and budget objectives are met
- Delivering and fulfilling objectives and directions from the Procurement Team
- Carrying out responsibilities for the use of computerized systems
- Briefing team leaders on issues for that day
- Ensuring the health, safety, cleanliness and security of the work environment
- Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment
- Must maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information, as well as other company data, including personnel information
- Work to routinely audit and verify inventory counts, accuracies and production rotation
- Coordinate and assist in communicating customers’ expectations with productions, shipping and receiving
- Ensure Work Order counts on all packs are done and inputted into PICS correctly
- Maintain proper levels of box and material inventory and place orders with vendors when inventory is low
- Ensure all packing lines are working properly and efficiently while packing is occurring
- Maintain proper inputs, stock items and information for IPR Farms PICS Database
- Conduct other duties as assigned
- Afternoon shift may be required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in warehouse, agricultural storage, or farm operations
- Supervisory or team leadership experience
- Knowledge of inventory management, receiving, shipping, and storage procedures
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment
- Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations
- Computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to lift heavy items and work in a physically demanding environment
