Elevate infrastructure projects with your expertise as Manager of Capital Projects. Lead the delivery of essential municipal transportation improvements while overseeing budgets and team performance.

Reporting to the Executive Director – Infrastructure Service, the Manager of Capital Projects provides vital oversight and technical guidance in enhancing transportation systems.

Your role encompasses project management from conception to construction, ensuring adherence to regulations and high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage infrastructure project planning and execution

• Supervise consultants and project teams

• Prepare reports for Council presentations

• Develop project budgets and monitor expenses

• Analyze engineering concepts and provide recommendations

Requirements:

• 4-year Engineering degree in relevant field

• P.Eng. certification in good standing

• 5 years of project management experience

• Proven leadership in a unionized setting

• Familiar with public sector regulations and construction contracts
