The City of Windsor is hiring a Sewage Collection Manager responsible for the overall operation and regulatory compliance of the sewage collection system. This role, requiring strong technical skills and extensive experience, will involve both leadership and hands-on management of the sewage collection team while addressing community needs during emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Overall Responsible Operator for sewage collection

• Monitor compliance and report system works to regulatory bodies

• Manage infrastructure budget needs and asset management

• Supervise team members and oversee daily operational tasks

• Conduct training on safety protocols for staff

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Environmental Sciences

• More than 6 years of sewage system experience

• Class III or IV Wastewater Collection Operator License

• Effective communication and planning abilities

• Experience in labor management in union settings
