RV Rental Operations Supervisor (Hospitality Supervisor)
Location: Whitehorse, Yukon
Job type: Permanent, full-time
Hours: 32–40 hours per week
Compensation: $22.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Days, mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, flexible hours, and overtime as required
Start date: As soon as possible

Do you enjoy leading teams, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and keeping operations running smoothly? Fraserway RV is looking for an RV Rental Operations Supervisor to lead our Rentals team in Whitehorse, Yukon.

Working closely with the Rentals Manager, you will supervise and coordinate the daily activities of 5–10 employees, including rental service clerks, reservation agents, and other travel and accommodation workers. You will help ensure rental RVs are prepared according to reservation schedules while maintaining high customer-service, quality, and safety standards.

What You’ll Do
  • Supervise, coordinate, schedule, assign, and review the work of 5–10 employees.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities with other departments.
  • Ensure rental RVs are cleaned, inspected, serviced, and ready for scheduled customer departures.
  • Perform the same duties as the employees supervised when operationally required.
  • Monitor fleet readiness, turnaround times, productivity, and service quality.
  • Resolve work-related and customer-service issues and recommend measures to improve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist customers and guests with special needs.
  • Hire and train employees in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Coach employees and support onboarding, development, and performance management.
  • Prepare and submit operational, progress, and other required reports.
  • Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, and coordinate repairs to support business continuity and customer-service delivery.
  • Requisition materials and supplies required for rental operations.
  • Promote a positive, respectful, and safety-focused workplace.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operating procedures, and health and safety requirements.
What You’ll Bring
  • Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Two to three years of experience in RV rentals, hospitality, tourism, accommodations, or a related service industry.
  • Previous supervisory or team-lead experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to organize a large workload and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
  • Fluency in German is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s licence and satisfactory driving record.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
Working Conditions
  • On-site work with no remote-work option.
  • Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
  • Extended periods of standing.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Weekend, evening, night, and seasonal overtime work may be required.
