AES is hiring a Senior Preconstruction Project Manager to lead development of renewable energy projects. Ensure project success from kickoff through execution while coordinating multiple teams.
This position requires a background in renewable project management, focusing on project tracking, risk analysis, and communication with Development, Engineering, and Construction teams. Your ability to negotiate EPC contracts and mentor team members will support project efficiencies and address challenges in real-time.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend and lead project kickoff meetings
• Analyze project data for feasibility and risk management
• Oversee RFP processes and bid evaluations
• Maintain continuous communication with project teams
• Address interconnection and scheduling challenges
Requirements:
• 4+ years in a renewable-focused project management role
• Comprehensive knowledge of project cycles and risks
• Skilled in Microsoft products, especially Excel and Pro Core
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven organizational capability in project management
