Position: Shift Supervisor for Mining Operations
Barminco is seeking a Shift Supervisor for its Canadian mining operations with a schedule of 6 weeks on, 3 weeks off. Lead operations and ensure the safety and proficiency of your team.

As part of the renowned Perenti Group, Barminco offers an exceptional opportunity for Shift Supervisors to further their careers in underground mining. In this critical leadership role, you will manage day-to-day operations and oversee the training of national supervisors, all while promoting a strong safety culture on site. Your leadership will directly influence the success of mining activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations and equipment usage at the mine

• Ensure the training and competence of all shift workers

• Oversee safety compliance and report issues to management

• Organize shifts, crews, and conduct planning meetings

• Prepare and submit incident reports appropriately

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as an Underground Shift Supervisor

• Valid Underground Shift Supervisors Ticket necessary

• Strong leadership and supervisory background

• Must have a current Drivers Licence

• Complete required health checks and vaccinations
